I am Lost

This morning…I went to Immigration Department. I never went there and I don’t want to waste anything on cab. Actually I have to go there weeks ago..but since I don’t know how to get there, so I just wait to asked from my friend for some direction. Eventually everybody that I asked gives me a really simplistic Malaysian answer…”senang je…ko jalan lurus ikut jalan….and blablabla” I really don’t like it when I asked for something and people just make the answer sound so simple and easy but yet so hard to be implemented.

If anybody would asked me the road in KL, I would likely to know some of it…but if it is damansara or bangsar, I would totally be blind mice. I could go to putrajaya, kajang, bangi, shah alam and anywhere else. But not that two places.

So the day before, I was busying trying to search for the map to the immigration. And I found none about the map to the immigration department. What about those foreigner that were working here? It would be very hard for them, and the most we could advice them is “senang je, amik teksi”…demit.

Well, the only clue to my treasure hunt is Pusat Bandar Damansara. I’ve asked 4 people and were given four different answers. S**t, I was clueless and I can’t wait for another week to go there. So I took my chance last night, searching for that place. With my only clues and a map of KL that I bought few days before, I am determined to find the place. The first pass was going thru Jalan Duta, what I hate about KL roads is that the signboard were actually placed just at the mouth of the exit, and it is very hard for drivers especially me. As I drove jalan duta, following my latest clue based on my instinct. I was following the signboard Kompleks Kerajaan since immigration was under government. But at the end I arrive at a kompleks kerajaan which resides the whole building of LHDN.

Well, after the frustration and luckily it was still 10 pm. There are still time for me. I drove back to KL and try to go thru another route based on my map and clues I had. The second tried bring me to stadium merdeka which is the place I would be probably gone to next week. I try again for the third time and this time I was trying Jalan Bangsar passing thru Jalan johar from Jalan Maarof. The route was pretty simple actually at the end and I did found it, after waking up a taxi driver who were sleeping inside his car with open door and mouth. The only reason that he dare to do it was because he parked in front of a police station. The police station was closed already and the crooks don’t care where he parked, since there was nobody there. Hmmmm

Yes, the taxi driver confirmed that I have found the place. I actually can believe it was an immigration department, since I could see movie posters and advertisement hanged on its wall (not the small size but a huge one) so I though it is a shopping center. Who would open an immigration department in the shopping center?
