Finding Job

Its really hard to find a suitable jobs today. Although they’re lots of classified ads in the papers and internet, only a few would be suitable (based on standard jobs requirement). But what really makes it hard for those jobseekers is the additional requirement that the company put up in their ads. Its normal to find jobs vacant which require 2-3 years experience, and at the end of the ads there will be a line which says like this “fresh graduate are encouraged to apply”. It’s a standard practice now.

Some of the ads are so biased that you just can apply for it, for only one thing that you don’t have.

A famous example would be “able to speak mandarin” were being put up as requirement. It does hurt some who would burned the midnight oil preparing resume and others, looking for vacant position offered by lots of anonymous company.

Another example would be “possessed certificate from ….” Which I don’t really know whether our education systems have told those companies that they don’t have money to trained those student for these requirement.

The most popular jobs that offered today for fresh graduate would be management trainees, some companies who offered this position were paying RM500/month, as if we were student attending internship program. Hey, wake up!!! These people are not students anymore, they are playing serious now.
