My tap water smell like shit

Last Sunday I was having the first unofficial reunion/gathering with some of my fren from MRSM. We haven’t met each other for quite a long time. Well to make the story jive with the title….the event organizer, whom were so eager to meet everybody, and she couldn’t come…all because the flash flood in Selangor area….i haven’t seen the picture of the flashflood yet, but I heard it was terrible…furniture’s ruined…car stall…but the most tak tahan part is when I went back home to take a shower…the water smell like shit…really smelly, as if I forgot to flush the toilet…

It was very disturbing experience…and I just know what caused it yesterday, when I read the newpaper on my way back from lumut (I was going to lumut the next day)…when the flood happen, it overflowed all the sewage system and drainage…causing the water to run into sungai selangor, which was the main source for household water supply for Klang valley and other parts of Selangor…this then increase the soluble ammonia content in the water…which contribute to the smelly characteristic…

It’s okay now…the smell has literally decrease…

Let’s talk bout my trip to Lumut recently.

I haven’t been to lumut for almost a year. And there are lots of changes happening in lumut, I stayed at Orient Star Hotel…I could have stayed in Damai Laut Swiss Garden, but Its too far. The waterfront near the jetty to pangkor island is completed already…they have built a elevated parking lot…which I think is very much help during the holiday season…since lumut is the gateway to pangkor island…me n my frens use to go to park at the school football field whenever we go to pangkor…at least with this parking lot, it will much more secure.

Orient Star is a nice 3 star hotel; it got great view of the seaside…good swimming pool…but there are few things that should not be there;

  1. There are a few cages which hold a monkey, a few roosters and a few pair of love bird…I don’t have anything against it, it just that my colleague feel it should not be that way…it belongs to the hotel management…
  2. I asked for a single deluxe room…with one (1) king size bed….and they did give me king size bed….which were done by combining two(2) single bed…haiya…
  3. it was the first hotel that have a “gayung”….and of course I could imagine what it is use for…but I want to use it, the nearest water tap is about 4 feet ahead….and I was sitting at the toilet bowl…couldn’t imagine how I managed to get the water into the gayung….
  4. many more…

I did went to teluk batik…because my sri lankan friend really wanted to see the place…the place really do changes since I last came to the place…it was more manage than before…and of course, it looks nicer…

But anyhow, it was very tiring day there…
