Malaysia has fourteen states in it.
From the east : Sabah, Sarawak, Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor, Perak, Pulau Pinang, Kedah, Perlis, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Federal States which consist of KL, Labuan and Putrajaya.
Although I considered myself as ones who loves to go on roadtrip, but because of the toll and oil prices are like killing me. So I do my roadtrip via the internet, just as others do. I’ve been to almost every states in Malaysia, if a day trip would be considered as one la. Don’t talk about Sarawak la, I have never been to the whole Sarawak because it is so damn big.
The first time I’m out of Sarawak was when I’m 10 years old. We had somebody organize a trip to limbang and to go there, we had to cross Brunei. That is the first and only foreign country I’ve been (I was supposed to go to Pakistan, huhuhuhu). Its only a pass by, but if it would be considered visiting, then it would be one.
Till the age of 15, I was living on an island called borneo. The first time I went to west Malaysia was in 1997. I was leading my scout troop to a jamboree. Well, nothing much to see then at that time, since KLIA was not in place yet. This trip to the jamboree was full of deception by my scoutmaster. He says that we would be going to kelantan by train and we would be given pocket money of rm20 a day. When we arrived in Subang airport, there was a school bus waiting. We thought that bus would bring us to the train station, and I already started to dream of riding a train. What happen actually was that bus took us all the way to kelantan. Huhuhuuh…there goes my train ride. And the pocket money was only words. And I never see so much of KL until I worked here in KL.
Back to the line, if transit was considered visiting the place, then I could add Singapore to my list. Because the airplane I boarded had transit there on my way back to kuching from the jamboree. It was only for 1 hour and I could hardly see any part of change airport.
I really want to see other parts of the world and I’m saving up for it.
so till today, i've actually been to most of the states in malaysia....but mostly are on business occasion.
