Yesterday I had a flu, blocked nasal and feel extremely uneasy. I thought it was nothing and as usual, as long as I could walk and still seeing clearly, I am normal. Back at home after office hours, I bought nasi lemak from the stall where I normally go to. The nasi lemak there were marvelous…huhuhuhu…nevermind bout the nasi lemak, I talk bout it later. I had my nasi lemak…and still feel uneasy, so took a bath with the hope that it could reduce my restless. Soon after, I felt like I’m vomiting, and there I go…gagging at my toilet bowl, as if I’m wasted out after a giant bottle of chivas. Then a clear vision came after me, saying that I must go to see my doctor.
And I go to get my prescription…on my way going out from the consultation room…I was keen seeing this weight machine…and told the doctor that I want to know how heavy I am now.
As I step out of it, the doctor asks “how much is it, 65 KG?”….i told him nope, it was 80KG…and immediately he advice me to take out 5KG….
Huhhu…guess I’m a bit heavier than I should be…and luckily the word fat is not there…. ;p
As I was going back home, I kept thinking about that weight losing thing. And I thought which one is more suitable, losing weight for the sake of getting the best figure or just to be in the fit shape?
And I made some conclusion myself that having the best figure does not necessarily being fit.
Having the best figure for your body is a subjective case and depends on perception of one. But most people now, think that having the best figure is to have a model like figure…like Tyra Bank, Iman, Naomi Campbell and those male models figure in V-mag magazine. Chezz…for me to have a figure like that, I must have taken out all the bones in my flesh and replace it with sticks…..hmm…with weight between the range of 40KG ~ 50KG….i think they have an operation which remove those organs that come in pairs. Kidney, lung and etc. and replace bones with something lighter…
It’s best to keep in fit shape, where what we should look into is the Body Mass Index (BMI). It helps to keep us in range proportion between our weights with our height. But BMI itself do not guarantee that we have a healthy body, having a good BMI number do not means that we have low cholesterol. I’ve seen people who were skinny but having a high cholesterol level and a big fat guy having a good level of cholesterol.
So I’m thinking now…whether I should follow the doctor advice or kept it my head only…..
